Tapped Out Eats Brings Gourmet Flavor to KC Quick In Gladstone

A new kitchen is drawing attention inside the KC Quick convenience store at 5810 NE Antioch Road in Kansas City’s Northland. And it’s not your typical gas station fare.

Tapped Out Eats has officially opened inside KC Quick, serving what customers are calling “gourmet gas station food” with a made-from-scratch touch. The kitchen operates 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, offering breakfast and lunch options that go beyond roller grills and heat lamps.

One standout item is the cheeseburger — made with fresh butcher shop beef and topped with house-made bacon jam. The burger is described as “huge and deliciously messy,” delivering a full diner-style experience from inside a neighborhood convenience store.

Breakfast has also become a draw. A large breakfast burrito, priced at $7, comes loaded and finished with a homemade chipotle sauce. Customers say the portion size and flavor rival many traditional breakfast spots across the Northland.

The menu also features a pork tenderloin sandwich , a Midwest favorite, that’s already generating buzz among early visitors eager to return.

What makes the concept even more local: the owner lives in the neighborhood. Supporters say that adds a community feel to the venture and gives residents another small business to rally behind.

Customers are encouraged to order online at TappedOutEats.com and pick up their food within about 15 minutes, making it a convenient stop for commuters traveling along NE Antioch Road.

For Northland residents looking for a quick bite with a gourmet twist, Tapped Out Eats may prove that good food can come from unexpected places,  even a neighborhood gas station.
