The Gladstone Price Chopper will be closing at the end of the year. While this happy rock remembers a time when you could find a low price there, the struggling chain has since become known for its high prices , bare shelves and expired items. The sad decline of Gladstone retail marches on. Soon Gladstone will be nothing but tattoo parlors and shitty gas stations as everything migrates to Liberty and Zonarosa.  Reportedly, the North Kansas City School is in talks to lease the location for an early childhood development center. In any case, this Price Chopper is getting axed.
