GLADSTONE, MO — May 4, 2025 Multiple residents in the Oaks and surrounding Gladstone neighborhoods are on alert after several sightings of a suspicious young man, reportedly seen running through yards and hiding in bushes during morning school bus times on Friday May 2. The initial sighting occurred around 8:25 a.m. near 53rd Street and N Washington Street, where a man believed to be in his 20s, African American, wearing a black hoodie and a light-colored backpack, was seen darting through neighbors' yards and approaching porches. “He had longer hair, maybe dreads,” said the reporting resident. “We lost sight of him near some bushes.
